Our first route, named after a warm Sahara wind, faces south, and its difficult holes are somewhat offset by the magnificent views of the Montgó.

Hole 1

Par 4.The fairway has a slight dogleg on the left. There are two bunkers on the right side of the fairway, making a long and focused drive necessary. The second swing is slightly downhill towards a green, with more of a drop than you might at first think at first.

Hole 2

Par 4. From the starting tee, this hole is spectacular, with a large island-shaped bunker in the middle of the fairway and a green behind that seems to ask for a risky drive from above the bunker. Players are now confronted with their first big dilemma: to play conservatively or attempt an unlikely birdie.

Hole 3

Par 5. A long hole that includes two doglegs: one on the left and one on the right. A demanding hole that will be challenging even for the best of players. The fairway requires a draw followed by a fade to reach the green with the shortest possible club.

Hole 4

Par 4. A very long and narrow hole, with a fairway lined by steep slopes and huge masses of trees on both sides. The drive will determine our chances of success in this hole.

Hole 5

Par 3. This hole is located in the heart of La Sella’s “amen corner”. From the tee, a long and measured drive is needed to bring the ball as close as possible to the flag on a protected and devilishly fast green.

Hole 6

Par 4. We are at the highest point of La Sella. After a very technical, not necessarily long, but necessarily focused start, the player will be rewarded by a beautiful view of a valley reminiscent of Tuscany at the base of which is a green protected by a bunker on the right.

Hole 7

Par 4. It is considered the course’s most difficult hole. Very long and with a wide variety of obstacles, including a generally dry waterway that crosses the fairway and a lake with which players must reckon. Only the fairway’s large green and lack of drops provide some consolation.

Hole 8

Par 3. A long, but rather simple drive is required. Small mounds on the left side protect the entrance to a large but very fast and lively green.

Hole 9

Par 5. A very technical hole. You need to do a drive to the right of the fairway in order not to be blocked on the second shot by a large mass of pine trees. In its middle section, the hole has a steep climb and a slight dogleg to the left until a green in the shape of a clover and the Montgó Natural Park in the background.
